Bumper nuts as opposed to bumper balls. Bumper nuts actually sounds like a legitimate truck/bumper accesory. Reason for bumber nuts (Bob asked why?): Well, growing up in Venezuela we used to say that if you can package a turd you can sell it in Venezuela. After 28 yrs in this country, take from me, I think this applies to the US as well.

AJ - I moved to Leith when I got married in 1990, before all the yuppification started in earnest. So yes, I know what it was like. It still is - there are pockets of old Leith still there, surrounded by the ‘luxury apartments’ being thrown up each time you turn your back.

How well did you know Leith ? In 1994 I lived above the Ship Inn on the Shore, facing onto the Ocean Mist (floating bar / restraurant).

Now I’m along thr Shore in the building beside what was the Oyster Bar.

Great show again as ever. Still the top Canadians in my eyes !
